Update Log #115 - Combat changes, Dyed EOF's, Prayer changes, Tears of Guthix, & lots of bug fixes

 

New update log

This is a full fill list of every ninja update done between this and the last big update log along with a bunch of new ones.

 

Combat & related

  • Twin Furies: getting caught in Nymora's wall rush will now stun you briefly, and increased the damaging ticks done by the ceiling collapse (every tick instead of every second tick now);
  • Reverted speed decrease change for 2-handed weapons;
  • The Hexhunter bow's attack speed has been decreased. The speed now matches that of a Seren's godbow;
  • Two-handed weapons will no longer trigger the double-hit effect if using a special attack;
  • The minimum hit will now always be 33% of your maximum hit;
  • Natural critical hits will no longer increase your damage output by 5%, instead, it will simply display the critical mark;
  • Added Opal bolt (e) effect of 5% chance to have a 10% damage increase;
  • Added Pearl bolt (e) effect of 5% chance to deal 15% more damage to enemies weak to water, 15% less damage to enemies weak to fire, or disable run if bolt effect procs on another player;
  • Added Sapphire bolt (e) effect of 5% chance to steal 5% of your maximum prayer points from your opponent;
  • Added Emerald bolt (e) effect of 55% chance to inflict a single poison hit ranging from 2% to 4% of the original hits value;
  • Changed Dragon bolt (e) effect to now deal a secondary, Magic based, hit that deals 25% of the original hit value;
  • Dragons are now immune to dragon-fire;
  • Added Jade bolt (e) effect of 5% chance to stun your target for 8 ticks. This effect only binds target players in PvP scenarios;
  • Added Hydrix Bakriminel bolt (e)/Ascendri bolt (e) - effect of 10% chance to restore 10% of your special attack;
  • You can now right-click Training Dummies and set min/max hits. This will allow you to hit the dummy for your minimum, maximum, or, regular hits;

Dungeoneering

  • You may now create more gatestones in Dungeoneering even if you have one dropped already;
  • Throwing vile fish in the ferret puzzle room will now account for virtual Ranged levels;

Essence of Finality amulet

  • You may now use color dyes on these amulets to re-color them into multiple variations. All the new amulet variants can be used with the ornament kit and recharged with alchemical hydrix dust;
  • Improved the message formatting when adding new special attack weapons to amulets;
  • You no longer have to have the same weapon type as the finality's stored item to use its special (only the combat style must match from now on, ie. you can use finality's DDS spec with an AGS equipped);
  • The amulets use our new attribute system that saves data onto the item itself rather than the player so use them with caution and report any bugs you find;
  • Upon next login your currently stored item will be returned to you (moving from old to new system);
  • Split Soul special attack is now tied to the weapon that it was casted with and will remove the effect only if a weapon switch occurs or time runs out;

Tears of Guthix

  • Added the full Tears of Guthix D&D. You will be able to do it once per day;
  • Added full Juna's dialogue with ALLLL of the possible story endings;
  • Time to collect tears is set to 1:30 (1 minute 30 seconds) with donator ranks boosting the timer by 15 seconds per rank;
  • You can get to the D&D by navigating through the Lumbridge Swamp cave, using the newly added Games Necklace option, or via the global teleportation menu;
  • If you're level 80 in Mining & Crafting you will be given an ornate bowl, which basically increases the EXP you receive at the end of the game from 180 per tear to 300 per tear;

Player-Owned Houses (Construction)

  • Added the 'Home Sweet Home' music track whilst inside houses;
  • Re-created the Tablet Making interface and all of its components to now include all of the newest teleport tablets, proper creation action and tablet data depending on the lectern you have;
  • Going inside houses will now feel much smoother and quicker (no more interface flicker+loading fourth and back);
  • Disconnecting while inside a house will now correctly place you outside your own houses portal instead of force-move you to default respawn tile at home;
  • Right-click modifying a house teleport tablet will now allow you to 'chip' it to any of the available House Portal locations. Chipped teleport tablets may be chipped into other variations, or, turned back into its original form;

Prayer

  • Sap Curses will no longer do the 'leech' effect;
  • Turmoil, Anguish, Torment, Malevolence, Desolation and Affliction curses will no longer do the 'leech' effect, they now increase your boost by a fixed amount (same as RS);
  • The 'Stats Adjustment' sub-interface will now correctly display current stat boosts;
  • Corrected regular prayer boosting values to match RuneScape ones;
  • Leech Curses will now graphically visualize with effects and projectiles;

Prifddinas

  • Added Rhadri Dail to the Max Guild area along with his dialogue. He can decant potions for you;
  • Added Challenge Mistress Heriau to the Max Guild area. She's another Daily Challenge mistress you can use to turn in your challenges, or, block challenge skills;
  • Added Elen Anterth to the Max Guild area along with her full dialogue. She sells all skillcapes and master capes, as well as toggle the destination tile when using the Max Guild teleport;

Lumbridge Swamp caves

  • Made the entrance, exit, and agility shortcuts function-able;
  • Populated the caves with all correct NPC spawns;
  • Added fishing spots, and made sure they, and the products you get - are all functioning;
  • Added the caves as a possible Slayer Teleport on the global teleportation interface;

Miscellaneous

  • Moved some item drops around for Kalphite King. The change should hopefully increase perfect chitin rate and decrease drygore weaponry drop rates;
  • Overhauled Wizard Rinsit's Runespan point shop to use our global custom shop system. Altar teleports are now un-trade-able;
  • Added missing Music tracks around Karamja;
  • Using/splitting ornament kits will now transfer over the base items degradation charges and unique attributes (if any) onto the new versions. I've also applied this change to the charge degradation system;
  • Added Aggie's full dialogue and dye making mechanic. Also added dye mixing (blue+red=purple, yellow+red=orange);
  • Upgraded cache version to latest RuneScape update (14/02/2022);
  • You can now quick-open the Teleportation Menu search bar with CTRL+S combination while the interface is open (ctrl+t into ctrl+s for quick combo);
  • Added a sound effect when teleporting using Fairy Rings;
  • Added right-click 'Fill' and 'Empty' options on the Archaeology soil box while in bank interface;
  • Made holding the shift key to drop items physically display the shift-drop option (client update);

Fixes

  • Magic cape spell-book switches now correctly require the codexes to switch;
  • You will no longer be able to enter Kuradal's Slayer cave if not assigned a task of an NPC that's actually in the cave by herself, Morvran or Laniakea. Also made sure new dwarf multi-cannon versions are not permitted inside either. Also also did some fixes towards attacking NPC's that aren't assigned to you;
  • (Un)equipping items will now save their real attributes (ie. partially filled god books);
  • Corrected the Treasure Trail Pirate's hat item ID for Clue scroll collection log purposes;
  • Failing a teleport block cast will now visually show the splash graphic and send the corresponding sound effect. If the target player is already teleblocked - it will always splash and will no longer renew the timer;
  • Drinking super guthix rest's will now put the special attack restoration effect on cool-down (adrenaline potion effect);
  • Renewing an active familiar will now also set its health back to maximum;
  • The vines in and around Herblore Habitat should all now be climbable over;
  • You can no longer fletch broad ammunition at a Portable Fletcher without first unlocking the requirement to do so;
  • Added an 'Add to pouch' option on the physical Valentine Heart item;
  • Added the new Lunar teleport tablet missing destinations;
  • Fixed a few inconsistencies with Challenge Mistress dialogues. Also made her right-click toggle option function-able;
  • Fixed an issue that wasn't alerting nearby guards when Thieving from stalls or failing pick-pockets;
  • Fixed incorrect graphical sequences for the Shade Thrower rest animation;
  • Dominion Tower gloves will now correctly degrade to dust after 15k charges in combat;
  • Charged jewelry used to teleport directly from equipment tab will now refresh properly;
  • You can now use your games necklace teleports directly from the equipment tab;
  • Fixed an issue with Teplin Macagan not decanting your potions correctly;
  • Dying in a boss instance with the Ring of Death equipped will now properly stop the instance controller;
  • Fixed an issue with Tombshrooms showing incorrect visual growth stage when diseased/dead.
